• No rate limit restrictions for API users: When obtaining phone numbers through the SMSOnline Web Platform, there is a limit on the number of phone numbers you can purchase within a 15-minute window. This limit is in place to prevent phone number depletion. This restriction does not apply to users using an API key.
• Fully-automated purchasing: Users of the SMSOnline Web Platform must be human, meaning web scraping or the use of bots is prohibited. However, users with an API key are allowed to programmatically acquire and use phone numbers. This will allow you to automatically check the phone number inventory and acquire a phone number immediately when it is available.
• Simple to use: Our API is built with a clear RESTful architecture and comes with comprehensive documentation. All result sets are returned in JSON format, making it easy for you to integrate our system into your own.
• No additional costs: Our API is provided free of charge, and there are no additional costs for using the API. A deposit is required for purchasing phone numbers, but as always, the full deposit amount can be used solely for purchasing phone numbers.

Conditions for using API

Users of the API must continuously meet the following conditions:

• Pre-Application: Please send your SMSOnline login E-mail to [email protected] to submit your API usage request. The request is required only for the initial setup, and once approved, you will be able to manage your API key on your own.
• SMS Reception Rate: Users utilizing an API key must maintain a minimum of 10% SMS reception rate for the phone numbers they purchase. This restriction applies after purchasing 20 phone numbers.
• Deposit Balance: When using the API, you must always maintain a minimum deposit balance of $20.
